Town Inn Suites Toronto receives mixed reviews, with guests praising its convenient downtown location, apartment-style accommodations, and friendly staff. However, recurring issues include unreliable internet service, inconsistent cleanliness, and noise disturbances, particularly from early morning noises. While some find it a good value for the price, others highlight room maintenance concerns and a lack of attention to detail.
I stayed only three nights between late February and early March. The hotel is relatively close to downtown, just six subway stops from Union Station. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and the staff is very kind. However, there are two serious issues that anyone considering staying there should keep in mind: I was without internet service for almost an entire day. I was traveling for work and internet access is very important to me. I understand that outages can happen, but it shouldn’t take so many hours to restore the service. The hotel assigned me room 2701 on the 27th floor. The room was comfortable, but throughout my stay I had to endure loud noises during the early morning that woke me up repeatedly. I couldn’t clearly identify what it was. It might have been the elevator, but at times it sounded as if some kind of work was being done. What I am sure of is that the loud metallic banging noises could not have gone unnoticed by the hotel’s management. For these two reasons, I would not stay there again.
The family had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but what really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. A special thank you to Stephanie at the front desk, who was always friendly, accommodating, and quick to help with any request, which made our visit feel truly welcoming.
After booking this place, I checked the reviews and they were pretty bad. I got scared and started regretting my decision, but I couldn’t change my reservation. So I decided to trust that everything would be okay and I’m so glad I did! The place is super cool. I really love how it feels like an apartment for an amazing price. The staff were also very nice and welcoming. I truly think this place deserves better and more honest reviews. The service and location are really good.
????? Overall | ????? Service Stayed at Town Inn Suites and the experience was… fine. The room itself was decent and fairly spacious, and the location is convenient if you need to be downtown. Nothing stood out as especially good or especially bad. It wasn’t terrible, just lacking attentiveness and warmth. Overall, it’s an okay option if you’re looking for a practical place to stay and don’t have high expectations for service. Average experience, average value.
Stayed here for three nights in January 2026, and it was outstanding. The location couldn't be better for downtown, right off Bloor/Yonge, but our room was on the 19th floor (with great views) and totally quiet. The suite was spacious, peaceful, and absolutely spotless, and the staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.
I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the hotel room. After reading several negative reviews, I was a little leery about spending the night at the Town Inn; however, the experience proved to be quite the opposite. The place was welcoming. Upon opening the door, we were welcomed by a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable sitting/living room area. There is a double closet in the living room, as well as the bedroom, providing plenty of storage space. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, but because of the faulty knob, we couldn't shower. The bedroom was bright, clean, and inviting. That said, the mattress was quite hard and the pillows uncomfortable, which unfortunately did not allow for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was equipped with minimal kitchenware and utensils. A few more forks and spoons would have been appreciated, as there were only three forks and two spoons—insufficient for four people. Nevertheless, everything was clean and tidy. While it wasn’t meticulously spotless, it was satisfactory. The blue recycling box was also appreciated, as it helped keep the recyclables out of the garbage. Unfortunately, the phone served more as decoration, as there was no dial tone. To make any request, one had to physically go to the front desk. Whoever installed the door latch didn't check its safety. It was screwed on backward, hence making it useless. Trying to exit the hotel’s underground parking is an adventure in itself. We kept driving around and around, unsure of where to go. There are numerous signs directing guests to the stairway leading to the hotel, yet not a single sign indicating how to exit the parking area. Driving in circles was both scary and extremely frustrating. Overall, we, along with our four-legged pet, did enjoy our stay at this establishment and will certainly return when visiting Toronto again.
My best friend and I stayed one night for a medical appointment the next day. We were pleasantly surprised by the suite we had. It was spacious and clean. Parking is underground/onsite. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It was only 11min walk to the Keg Mansion! Kalpesh and the rest of the staff were welcoming and helpful. This will be our new regular place to stay when we go to Toronto.
Ended up staying here in a pinch and I can safely say it’s a bit scuzzy and run down. The lobby didn’t smell the best and the carpet was rather dirty. The room wasn’t the cleanest with something splattered across the bedroom wall and a strange white powder at the base of the washroom walls. A number of electrical outlets did not work in the room nor did either of the microwaves. Perhaps this experience is not the norm but it was mine.
It was a good hotel and a great location. We actually got a living room and a bedroom here. Booked few months in advance got the rooms for around $100 per night. As it is close to Downtown Toronto, lots of food and dining options nearby. Many halal food places too nearby at a 15-20 mins walk. And also the Subway station was pretty close too, around 6-8 mins walk. Overall would recommend the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and professional. Our room was very cute and clean. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t access the balcony, the door was locked, but, for safety reasons, I understand why it was inaccessible. Bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping is walking distance from the hotel so I would definitely stay here again in the future. They offer parking but it isn’t free, sadly. You can easily access the metro from where the hotel is situated. Overall, a lovely experience!
