Matress old, saggy and coils squeak. Drapes worn out and falling apart. Whole room needs renovating. Very bad gaps in floor slats, bathroom trims and caulking bad. Cannot put thermostat to cool mode. HDMI cable under TV does not work to duplicate laptop screen to TV. Maintenance guy says that it is an old cable set up and the cable cannot be used. Then why is it there now? Long hair found in tub when 1st used. Ventilation vent full of dust. Everything looks old and rundown. Elevator made strange noises going up and down. No safe. No microwave. Looks old and worn down. On a plus side, lobby and restaurant areas look great. Great buffet breakfast and restaurant staff!

Re: Concern Regarding Reception Service Today I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service I received at the reception desk today. I approached the front desk because I had forgotten our room number. My husband made the reservation under his name, but we are both registered guests for the room. Just moments before, the receptionist had seen my husband and me enter the hotel together. I was also carrying our room key card at the time. When I asked for assistance, she initially requested my ID. I provided it, but she did not review it and immediately stated that she could not give me the room number because I was not listed under the reservation. I understand and respect the importance of guest privacy and security. However, I felt that the situation was not handled with consideration or thoroughness, especially since I had identification and the room key card in my possession. I was carrying several items at the time and simply needed assistance accessing our room after my husband stepped out briefly. The interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively to improve guest experience in similar situations in the future.

I really like this hotel. Conference there Feb 2026 and the food was good. At dinner they have good lamb chops, add a salad or pasta and a perfect dinner. Airport shuttle runs timely. Bud, Magnet Geological

Quick one night stay before a trip. Check in as easy, room was lovely. The bed was comfy. We ate at the restaurant and had a delicious meal. Parking there while away was easy and one of the cheapest options I found. The shuttle was easy there and back.

The last 2 years for are family vacation we have used the park/fly but did not stay for because of are pets at home .. I just wanted share my amazing experiences with The Westin Toronto airport hotel on Dixon Rd with there Shuttle /parking. Experience is top notch ! Your shuttle service is very quick and prompt and all of your drivers are amazing at their job! I did not get the gentleman‘s name for our drive to the airport in the morning, but after that amazing service again . I had to make sure that I got the name of our shuttle driver on the return back to the hotel from our vacation . His name was Syed and was amazing ! Thank you, Western hotel for your amazing services! We look forward to trying to park stay and fly in the future.

It is challenging to see what brings this location to a deserved 4 star ranking. The HVAC is clunky, cars are regularly stolen from their parking lot, and the rooms are dated. These are all issues that are brought up repeatedly in other reviews. My major issue is with our room service order and how the manager handled it. 1. Notice of an automatic gratuity is mandatory in Canada. The 18% automatic gratuity applied to room service fees at this location was not posted anywhere on the room service menu or in the room, so this is a violation of federal law, kind of a big deal. 2. The prices listed on the TV-based menu do not reflect the prices we were charged. There were discrepancies on many items, typically of $1-2. 3. When a club sandwich arrived without bacon the front desk was notified and the manager, Simran, called our room and attempted to ARGUE that the kitchen had put bacon on the sandwich, and perhaps I meant I wanted extra bacon. 4. A follow up email from Simran claimed a complimentary sandwich was provided. This is not true, the original substandard item was replaced, but the full price was still charged. That isn't complimentary. Front desk and restaurant staff were kind and helpful. This manager was consistently difficult and dealing with her led to an unpleasant stay that won't be repeated.

Upon arrival, checking in went okay until the security deposit hold. Their machines to use for visa debit was giving issues, and only worked with certain bank branches according to front desk. Not everyone uses credit cards, they said the only way for me to check in is with a credit card, and the hotel manager was firm with it. Being almost late for me event, they finally allowed me to pay cash deposit, and will get it back once I check out. The manager and front desk declined my cash which I used my same bank card with their atm. Then, they finally agreed I can pay with cash. Now, going into the room, it was very cold. Strange... so I turned up the heat. 2 hrs pass by and the temperature didn't increase higher. I reported to front desk, they sent maintenance with a portable heater. Still no good, cause the floor was very cold. Telling them for the 2nd time, it's too cold, they said they "can't" change my room. They decided to give me a 2nd portable heater. Still no use. Then I physically had to go downstairs and speak to the manager, then he decided to change my room. Magically there was a room ready and the heat was working in the room change. The service at this hotel is very poor. The customer service provided was very poor. The hassle to check in, and the room issue will Not have me going back to this location. I do Not recommend staying here at this hotel.

Decent location that’s right next to the airport The hvac system is a hit or miss here. You’ll have days it’s not working and rooms get cold. I stayed here for an extend time and experienced this. Best part about this hotel is the morning Kitchen staff. Chef Andrew, Jackie, Frances are exceptional at what they do. Truly love the breakfast here

I have stayed here multiple times both for pleasure and business. The staff is always amazing and very helpful. The breakfast staff is exceptional. They remember me and work very hard to make my time pleasant. My one complaint is the lack of meeting requests made through the reservation and Bonvoy app. On every visit I ask for extra towels prior to arrival and they never come until I call down and ask again. This is a little thing but it would make the stay even better. The front desk staff is always welcoming and friendly.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were shocked to find used condoms and other concerning items beside the bed. It seemed like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. We ended up with scratches and had to get checked out by a doctor due to potential health risks. We were worried we might have been exposed to diseases. I would advise others to be cautious when staying here and to thoroughly inspect their rooms.
