We’re visiting for the World Cup. Location is close to everything in downtown. The room was clean and cleaned in the morning per request. Parking is in the garage of the hotel which is convenient. Aakash at the front desk is as AMAZING. Concierge was super helpful. Aakash answered all of our questions and showed incredible hospitality. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on our next trip back.

We've stayed at the SoHo a couple of times now (As a couple), and both times have been great experiences. Julianna at reception was more than helpful with helping us find the perfect room. As a wheelchair user, sometimes I have to "vet" hotels until we find a truly accessible room. The SoHo's accessible room is great! It could use a little more room around the bed for wheelchairs, but features a massive bathroom with plenty of room, making transfers easy. The entire staff is welcoming and helpful, the on-site Café is a great spot for breakfast or a quick snack. And the location truly cannot be beat!

I stayed here in April 2026 for a conference and was truly impressed with the service and cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping staff is the best I’ve encounter in the last 10+ years. The front desk staff are equally as amazing. Akash specifically is awesome. He would always greet me as I walked in or out of the hotel and was adamant on me having a wonderful stay. To that point, he far exceeded his goal. The lobby was undergoing some renovations when I arrived so I was a little worried, but I never felt it. I never heard noise and there was no dust in or around the lobby. Parking is convenient and reasonably priced. Hotel location is excellent. The cafe and restaurant in the hotel are both world class as well. Any time I’m back in Toronto I will stay at the SOHO. I could not recommend this hotel more.

An enjoyable stay at SOHO Hotel - excellent service all around. The room we stayed in was quite big, with ample space for a sofa, a writing desk with 2 chairs, and an abundance of drawers in the bedroom area. The closet area is also big, with 2 separate closets for hanging clothes, with shelves and drawers, plus a safe. The marble bathroom floor can be heated, making it comfortable to walk on, especially in the morning or when it is cold outside. The staff at the Concierge gave us a good recommendation on our Niagara Falls day trip, and the staff were always caring and courteous. We were taken care of very well. The Front Desk staff was efficient. With CN Tower and a variety of restaurants in the neighborhood, we are satisfied with the location. We will stay at SOHO next time we are in Toronto.

The Soho Hotel is extremely conveniently located for a Blue Jays game or a trip to the CN Tower/ Aquarium. There are alot of walkable restaurants nearby and they are close to a tram line. I have a few minor grievances, though that might give me pause booking it again as it is pricey. The pillows were not very supportive and some alternative choices would be nice. Our sheets on the bed had rips in them (which was rectified once notes). The temperature in the hotel room was hard to regulate. We didn't suffer but it was either freezing with the A/C on or too hot - but I think this must be from the style of room layout and that the window faced south. I also didn't get to use the hot tub or pool - the times were restricted too much on the weekends, and the kicker here was that I had to sign up for their rewards program in order to use it. Why is the hot tub not available after 8pm on a weekend?! No one mentioned that there were renovations occuring in the lobby. It doesn't appear to effect their operations but was certainly a surprise to me. Finally, as a side note the scent in the hotel is a quite over powering and cloying scent. All that said, the service was decent and the room layout is nice and modern. The views are hard to beat and little attached cafe is cute.

I stayed at the Soho last week while I was in Toronto and loved it! I stayed on the residence side and the room was amazing. I had all of the accommodations of an apartment, and lots of space. I had an issue with the heat and submitted a maintenance request through the app, I very quickly got a phone call from the front desk in response to my request and they let me know that since it was so late in the evening that nobody would be there until the morning to take a look at it, and they offered me a space heater to help warm up the room. The maintenance person came first thing in the morning and got everything fixed. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me!

The stay itself was fine. However, the hotel charges a mandatory facility fee that is not included in the advertised nightly rate. It is disclosed in the Booking.com fine print, but it increases the total cost and was not mentioned at check-in. We did not use the facilities, yet the fee is compulsory. Because it is separated from the headline rate, it makes the hotel appear cheaper in search results than the true all-in price. I am leaving this review in the hope that the hotel moves toward straightforward, all-in pricing rather than add-on junk fees.

Some places just get it — and the Soho Hotel Toronto truly went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. ?? My husband was in Toronto for work during our 13-year anniversary, and I wanted to find a way to make him feel loved from afar. The team at Soho didn’t just help — they embraced the idea with so much kindness and care. They surprised him with the sweetest setup: a heart balloon, beautiful macaroons, and cupcakes that instantly made his day brighter. They even provided a special email so I could write him a personal letter, which they printed and included with the surprise. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect (and honestly a little funny!) — he was actually on the phone with me when they knocked on the door to deliver everything. Hearing his reaction in real time is a moment I’ll always treasure. What meant the most was how genuine and thoughtful the staff were. They understood exactly how to help a wife trying to make her husband’s business trip feel a little less lonely and a lot more special until he could come home and celebrate together. Soho Hotel Toronto — thank you for your warmth, your attention to detail, and for turning a simple idea into a beautiful memory. We are so incredibly grateful.

Wonderful experience at Soho. The decorations and candle layout that awaited us in the room were above and beyond. It is evident that the staff at Soho truly puts in the effort to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction. Sahad at the front desk was also amazing - his kindness did not go unnoticed. We will be back again.

Excellent experience at SoHo Hotel. The rooms are clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help, making the stay smooth and enjoyable. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, shopping, and key attractions.
