My husband and I stayed for one night for a music event. I wish we stayed two nights and had time to visit George and Secrette. The staff were welcoming, gave us a tour, and showed us to our room through the maze of the beautiful building and its cool rooms. It has a reading room! Our room (Room Four) was beautiful, with a lovely courtside balcony (sadly it was raining), and a massive soaker tub. The furniture, bed, robes, bath salts on the tub, and little gift bags of salts to take home made it feel like a spa. There were pastries, fruit and coffee outside our door in the morning. We ended up leaving later than we had planned. It is not a hotel experience, more like a private rental experience but with exceptional hotel service. This will be our new stay when we are back in the city.

The room was beautifully decorated. We enjoy the size and quality of the king sized mattress. The bathroom was gorgeous, including a variety of bath salts. We only stayed overnight to enjoy a musical within walking distance so we did not use any of the amenities. There is no on-site parking so it will cost you up to $50. Unfortunately most Toronto Hotels have no parking. Room service was scheduled for 8 a.m. It came with croissants, a cinnamon roll, yogurt and granola and fruit. When we arrived we filled out a form for allergies and preferred choices. I requested to have almond milk for my tea as I am lactose intolerant. They forgot to provide it. We also said that we were lactose intolerant ans they gave us yogurt. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel. Huge rooms. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is a dream and a small balcony facing a courtyard. Quiet. Unique. Excellent customer service. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

The Ivy at Verity is a beautiful European-inspired boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto (Queen + Jarvis) with 4 gorgeously-appointed rooms, each with their own unique style and decor plus 24-hour concierge who will fulfill your every desire. A sommelier brought the perfect bottle of Chianti to our room and shared about its origin, a bath salt "menu" in the spacious bathroom included eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender for a relaxing, deep soak and the in-room continental breakfast was served with fresh coffee and pastries, yoghurt and fruit. Highly recommended for a romantic rendezvous in the city, or an indulgent treat just for you. ?????

This boutique hotel is fantastic and we highly recommend it! Truly loved this place! The rooms are beautifully designed and thoughtfully done! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are soft. Slept like a dream! Breakfast was simple and excellent! Will definitely return!

Location pretty central, just a few blocks from Yonge. Lovely spacious rooms, just one of four at the Verity, each with gigantic bathrooms. Shower and soaking tub includes with a selection of bath salts. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and a very special touch! Attentive kind staff at the front desk. Also visited the spa for a circuit- complete with an ozonated pool, whirlpool, ir sauna and steam room. Plenty of quiet nooks to relax and unwind. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway to pamper yourself! If there was anything to add, it would be to add some eucalyptus essence for the steam room!

What a wonderful Hotel! This hotel has a small number of rooms and they are booked months in advance. The Hotel is rather discreet from the street, but once inside it is absolutely beautiful. Nicely decorated with a wonderful collection of a variety of art. The room was large and the bathroom is to die for. The bathroom is larger than some hotel rooms I have been in. The accommodations are outstanding with top of the line accoutrements. Everything was better than First Class. The staff is very accommodating and George the concierge and Cecile the manager made sure that everything was taken care of. They have numerous meeting rooms, outdoor patios both private for the rooms and a large one able to take care of several groups. Breakfast (Continental) was excellent. Next time in Toronto I hope I know long enough in advance to be able to reserve a room at the Ivy! I would give them more than 5 stars.

We booked the Urban Retreat getaway and we loved every moment if our stay. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom and amenities, particularly the bath salts, were luxurious and relaxing. We had a five course tasting menu at George's restaurant and marvelled at the chef's creativity. The staff was gracious and kind. The continental breakfast was the perfect amount of food after a huge meal the night before. We are already planning our next stay! Highly recommend The Ivy @ Verity and the George's restaurant!
