The Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre receives generally positive feedback, particularly highlighting its convenient location near the airport and friendly staff. However, recent reviews indicate recurring issues with room maintenance, including noise from nearby activity, inconsistent Wi-Fi performance, and outdated room features. Service quality also varies, with some praising exceptional support while others report frustrating experiences with issues not being adequately addressed.
Hotel is in a good location, short ride to the terminal. Rooms are generally nice, but starting to show their age. Beds are comfortable. The shuttle service was by far the biggest downside of this hotel. It doesn't run 24 hours day, keep that in mind for late night arrivals. Also, shuttle to the terminal isn't complimentary. Best feature by far was the customers service at the lobby front desk.
Came for Oshiuplink. Staff were friendly and courteous, and housekeeping staff are very kind. Food options in the area are limited to chains given it’s an airport area. Close access to TTC busses. Overall pretty decent for a medium-sized venue for a new convention.
Titanium Member. No upgrade upon arrival (hoping for King suite). No problem. No upgrade to club for either. Fine. $30 parking (no titanium discount as at other properties in the area). Fine. Get to our floor. You can hear the kids playing mini sticks in the hall even before the elevator door opens. Literally screaming at each other. Went to our room at the opposite end of the hall. Could still hear them. Back to the desk (still lugging luggage around). Showed them the video of the kids. No apology, two desk agents - neither one said they would address it with the kids. Requested room change - look at that, a Club floor room is suddenly available. Room was 22 degrees even though temp was set to 18. Only saving grace was that the windows have vents. Cooled it off a bit. TV remote didn’t work. Wifi wasn’t working. Only one bathrobe. Left the wifi and remote issue so we could grab dinner. Tried their restaurant as they advertised a two-course meal special. Asked the hostess for the price - she said it was no longer offered (we were literally looking at the TV advertising it beside the restaurant while we were discussing it). Fine. We went elsewhere. In the morning, went to get a new remote. Told I’d have to wait for maintenance to come in (30 min). Our TV was on and we couldn’t turn off or change channel. Front desk guy tried their TV and said it works on theirs…I pointed out that since the red light is flashing, it means battery is running out. Suggested that since remotes work on all TVs maybe he could get one from another room. He did. Talked about wifi. Said to return to room and call tech support! Sunset with rooms facing the airport is lovely. Nespresso machines in the room. Sheets are cheap, beds aren’t comfy. It’s an older hotel, but the service was not at Marriott standard. Yes - my issues got fixed, but should not have happened in the first place. As a travel agent, this is not a hotel I will be recommending to clients.
I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the hotel. The overall experience was great, and everything was well managed. Lakshya was very nice and welcoming during check-in, which made the process smooth and easy. The housekeeping staff was also very polite and did a good job maintaining cleanliness. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very close to the airport, and the best part is the shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from Terminal 1, which saves you the cost of an Uber or train. The rooms are a bit older, but they’re well maintained. The service is good, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. During my three-night stay, I noticed the water seemed to affect my skin, though I’m not sure exactly why. There’s an onsite restaurant with decent food, but the portions are quite small. Because of that, I ended up ordering food from outside most of the time. They do provide bottled water in the rooms and offer fruit at the front desk in the mornings. It’s a fairly busy hotel, with many working professionals staying there, and there are often meetings and conferences happening. There’s also a nice pool and a gym. Overall, it was an okay stay. Thanks.
Stayed three nights in March 2026 as part of a work conference. The rooms are very nice, very clean and the beds and pillows are fantastic The main issues I have with the hotel in the rooms: - because this is an older hotel rooms don't have individual heating and air conditioning units, instead there is a central unit. During the winter months there is only heat available in the room, no air conditioning. When I arrived in my room the temperature in the room was 74° and there was no way to get it lower. the room does have two very small vents in the windows, but this made my room 62° and brought in a lot of noise from outside traffic because this hotel is near to the airport and a busy road. The other issue is the Wi-Fi. The free Wi-Fi is okay but painfully slow during busy hours. Upon signing in for the Wi-Fi, you are prompted to pay $10 for premium Wi-Fi which promises better speeds and less lag. In 1996. This might have been acceptable, but in 2026 this is no longer acceptable and expected. Cell phone signal in the room varies from one to two bars making it unreliable.
Stayed at hotel while I went to Mexico in April. When I returned there was an add for a trade show on my windshield. Indigo GTA had put two parking tickets on my vehicle that were not there went I checked the van. I received a bill from collections mid December. I contacted the hotel to see why I was billed. It was confirmed that I did pay for parking but because Indigo parking had already sent the bill to collections there was nothing they could do. So if you are leaving your vehicle at this hotel don’t be surprised if you get a bill from collections and they will do nothing for you. Before I received the notice from collections I would have given them 5 stars.
The overall room just works, nothing that pops out or too fancy. We stayed here for anime north 2025 and it served us just right for a place to cool down and sleep. Didn't use the pool. If I critique any more I have to say this hotel looks too old fashioned and could use a bit more touch up or a change of design as I've definitely seen better. Breakfast is nice but not free, so it was a good stop before leaving for other activities out of the hotel.
I visit here primarily for conference activities (the Kinights of Columbus). The service is incredible. Staff is great , professional and friendly at every level whether it be front desk or room service. Because I attend conferences, I am of course interested in the quality and speed of service when you have a couple of hundred people attending, and I can tell you that it is second to none. Of course no conference review is complete without a discussion of food service. Here, would put it as solid. On the first night I had the chicken dinner. It was very nicely done. My only complaint would be that the Turkey dinner served on the second night was dry and the stuffing looked like a piece of sliced bread. It was not at all enjoyable. Clearly, it was pre-made and bland and truthfully a bit of a shock. I know no why they would call that stuffing. It did make for interesting table talk. There was hardly any cranberry sauce and it really wasn't the best example of stuffing at all. Despite this, it is important to understand that the staff did an amazing job of serving the food and it was amazing to watch. Each table was served promptly , and with courtesy. Really, it was amazing how so many people were served so quickly and how they made everybody feel that they were like the first to be served, so my congratulation goes to all the staff that did the hard work. Whatever complaint I have is nothing when you consider how well done the whole experience was at the sheraton. So, thank you to one and all there. I recommend staying here if you can.
Location got a 3 due to the location of being near the airport. Sleep was difficult when your room is under the landing strip. Fumes from the planes going over filled the room giving headaches, planes are low enough it felt like I could tickle the planes belly. Rooms are very comfortable and house cleaning was there every day. The front desk was very accommodating when the door lock of the room needed fixing. Great that it was attached to the Conference Center but a different location would have been better.
