The Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre receives mixed reviews, primarily praised for its convenient airport location and helpful staff, particularly during conference periods. However, recurring concerns include dated rooms, inconsistent Wi-Fi, issues with parking and billing, and occasional cleanliness problems. While service is generally good, some guests have experienced issues with room maintenance and overall hotel upkeep.

Very close to the airport, and the best part is the shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from Terminal 1, which saves you the cost of an Uber or train. The rooms are a bit older, but they’re well maintained. The service is good, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. During my three-night stay, I noticed the water seemed to affect my skin, though I’m not sure exactly why. There’s an onsite restaurant with decent food, but the portions are quite small. Because of that, I ended up ordering food from outside most of the time. They do provide bottled water in the rooms and offer fruit at the front desk in the mornings. It’s a fairly busy hotel, with many working professionals staying there, and there are often meetings and conferences happening. There’s also a nice pool and a gym. Overall, it was an okay stay. Thanks.

Stayed three nights in March 2026 as part of a work conference. The rooms are very nice, very clean and the beds and pillows are fantastic The main issues I have with the hotel in the rooms: - because this is an older hotel rooms don't have individual heating and air conditioning units, instead there is a central unit. During the winter months there is only heat available in the room, no air conditioning. When I arrived in my room the temperature in the room was 74° and there was no way to get it lower. the room does have two very small vents in the windows, but this made my room 62° and brought in a lot of noise from outside traffic because this hotel is near to the airport and a busy road. The other issue is the Wi-Fi. The free Wi-Fi is okay but painfully slow during busy hours. Upon signing in for the Wi-Fi, you are prompted to pay $10 for premium Wi-Fi which promises better speeds and less lag. In 1996. This might have been acceptable, but in 2026 this is no longer acceptable and expected. Cell phone signal in the room varies from one to two bars making it unreliable.

Stayed at hotel while I went to Mexico in April. When I returned there was an add for a trade show on my windshield. Indigo GTA had put two parking tickets on my vehicle that were not there went I checked the van. I received a bill from collections mid December. I contacted the hotel to see why I was billed. It was confirmed that I did pay for parking but because Indigo parking had already sent the bill to collections there was nothing they could do. So if you are leaving your vehicle at this hotel don’t be surprised if you get a bill from collections and they will do nothing for you. Before I received the notice from collections I would have given them 5 stars.

The overall room just works, nothing that pops out or too fancy. We stayed here for anime north 2025 and it served us just right for a place to cool down and sleep. Didn't use the pool. If I critique any more I have to say this hotel looks too old fashioned and could use a bit more touch up or a change of design as I've definitely seen better. Breakfast is nice but not free, so it was a good stop before leaving for other activities out of the hotel.

I visit here primarily for conference activities (the Kinights of Columbus). The service is incredible. Staff is great , professional and friendly at every level whether it be front desk or room service. Because I attend conferences, I am of course interested in the quality and speed of service when you have a couple of hundred people attending, and I can tell you that it is second to none. Of course no conference review is complete without a discussion of food service. Here, would put it as solid. On the first night I had the chicken dinner. It was very nicely done. My only complaint would be that the Turkey dinner served on the second night was dry and the stuffing looked like a piece of sliced bread. It was not at all enjoyable. Clearly, it was pre-made and bland and truthfully a bit of a shock. I know no why they would call that stuffing. It did make for interesting table talk. There was hardly any cranberry sauce and it really wasn't the best example of stuffing at all. Despite this, it is important to understand that the staff did an amazing job of serving the food and it was amazing to watch. Each table was served promptly , and with courtesy. Really, it was amazing how so many people were served so quickly and how they made everybody feel that they were like the first to be served, so my congratulation goes to all the staff that did the hard work. Whatever complaint I have is nothing when you consider how well done the whole experience was at the sheraton. So, thank you to one and all there. I recommend staying here if you can.

Location got a 3 due to the location of being near the airport. Sleep was difficult when your room is under the landing strip. Fumes from the planes going over filled the room giving headaches, planes are low enough it felt like I could tickle the planes belly. Rooms are very comfortable and house cleaning was there every day. The front desk was very accommodating when the door lock of the room needed fixing. Great that it was attached to the Conference Center but a different location would have been better.

Abysmal experience. I would strongly advise families or anyone needing basic convenience to avoid this hotel. I’m a long-time Marriott Bonvoy member with several hundred nights across the brand, and this was by far the worst stay I’ve had. We were travelling with two young children, which naturally means multiple bags and baby gear. At this property, guests are not allowed to use luggage carts under any circumstances. The staff gave three different explanations: first a “fire hazard,” then that the carts “belong to the bell staff,” and finally that it’s a “full-service hotel” so guests must rely on bell services. In practical terms, that means you either wait for a bellman or carry bags up one or two at a time. After a long-haul flight with small children, this policy makes the hotel completely impractical. It removes any sense of convenience for families and creates unnecessary friction at a time when you need support, not obstacles. I’ve loved Marriott for years, but this location is absolutely not suitable for travelling families.

Stayed here for a work event - Event included "Valet" parking - disinterested and disengaged desk attendant pointed to the parking lot across from the front door and told me to park my car there. Valet parking means me driving the car and parking it.... what? Strike 1 Hotel. Poor staff and poor service. Next, I learned my colleague attending the same conference was forced to pay $40 for his included "Valet" parking. ... Yikes. Not a great start... Ok, of to the room... hallway was tired and poorly lit. Carpet is made up of a pattern of various shades of grey to hide the dirt I felt was present. The hotel had a dirty feel. The tired carpet, dim lighting and "dirty" smell covered by ill smelling perfume cleaner. (note to these large hotels - go spend a day at a spa - smell deep with your nose.... THAT is the smell I expect from a $350/nt hotel) Strike 2 Hotel. Dirty feeling hallway and carpet. Into our room. Lock and key worked fine. Bathroom was old and tired. Shower had mold Old discolored tub had scratches and what looks like maybe a burn mark from something. I wore my flip flops in the shower because it was NOT clean. Strike 3 Hotel - more old tired decor and desperately needing updates. It felt like a $59/nt Best Western in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable enough and there were several pillows to choose from. Floor had a dirty feel to it also. No bare feet on the floor in the hotel room either.... flip flop only when moving around the room. Bed bug check - didn't see any or any sign In the morning, there was a coffee machine with some nice espresso pods in the room. No real milk or cream in the room. Just powdered creamer. I walked down to the lobby thinking there would be a coffee station with coffee and cream etc. Nope - no coffee. Front desk told me to order a pot from room service and it will have milk and cream. Remember, this is a premium $350/nt hotel... what? Strike 4 Hotel... You lot me at Strike 3 ... Strike 4 mean I am going to take an effort to warn others about what to expect from this property. I will never stay at this hotel again. I am shocked at how many 5 star ratings there are .... they can't be real. This is a tired dirty property. If you need a place to sleep - it'll work. Keep your expectations to a minimum.

This hotel offers a spacious modern glamor room with excellent service as expected from a Marriott-affiliated hotel. My first encounter with the hotel was when I missed my flight around two years ago, and the rescheduling motivated me to find a place to stay overnight. The female receptionist and manager were very kind and patient in helping me, a college student who was unfamiliar with hotels and hospitality, finding a solution in the moment where I was lost in a foreign country. The location is very convenient under the circumstance related to the Pearson International Airport. My only concern is probably the floor, which is mostly carpeted, making it difficult for traveling visitors with heavy wheeled suitcases.

The hospitality was amazing, traveling with a young one can be stressful, but as we got to the door, Brian from the Bell Desk, greeted us and helped us quickly to get unloaded and moved to our room. Thought out our stay he'd deliver a warm greeting to see if anything is needed or he can help with. Brian remembered as we needed to leave our bags behind so we didnt have to carry so much to Niagara Falls after he helped gather and load away and out what we didnt need and after we got back! The care was amazing, just being greeted and always looked out for. The chef at the hotel was amazing to catering a meal to our little one, made sure his was made while we walked around so he wasn't just sitting longer after a flight. The team at the restaurant really took care of the evening!
