I’ve stayed at all the luxury hotels in Toronto and this is prolly my new fave. Location is insane, rooms are clean and well equipped (and a vibe! lfg high ceilings!). Was informed there was a pool and hot tub and I’m guessing a gym which would have been nice to explore but I didn’t have time. Will def recommend to others and stay there again if I get the chance!

Loved staying here! It's a beautiful and charming hotel! Came here for my birthday weekend and the staff made it so special. The food and drinks were great. Our bedroom was really nice, organized and clean. Would definitely recommend and come back to stay here!

I chose One King West Hotel & Residence primarily for its downtown Toronto location; I had heard great things about the hotel and was able to secure a good rate through Booking.com, which made it an easy decision. My husband and I were visiting downtown and needed to be close to the Passport Office, and the location could not have been more convenient. The hotel is also within walking distance of Union Station, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Financial District, restaurants, bars, shopping, and Toronto's theatre district. We arrived in a Chevrolet Suburban, which unfortunately could not be accommodated in the hotel's parking due to its size. However, valet quickly directed us to a nearby parking garage just around the corner, which worked out well. The lobby is smaller than some downtown hotels but is elegant, well-appointed, and makes a great first impression. I had originally booked a Historic Interior View Room but was assigned a Tower Room at check-in. Since I didn't get to experience the historic section, I can't compare the two, but the Tower Room was comfortable and well-equipped. The room featured a kitchenette with burners, a sink, coffee maker, and useful amenities for longer stays. The large windows provided a nice city view, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was somewhat small and showed a bit of wear in places, something I'm particular about, but it was clean and functional. Overall, One King West offers a fantastic downtown Toronto location, comfortable accommodations, and great access to everything the city has to offer. I would consider staying here again.

Clean, luxurious, great amenities, helpful staff, fantastically located, and it's true, they have an address in Toronto that is especially noteworthy. They remembered that the last time we were there was back in 2009 even! (They have an impressive concierge and CRM!) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely not be another 15 years until we return next. It'll be much sooner and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We stayed for one night Jan 2026. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was spacious and beautifully designed. We enjoyed the historical parts of the hotel like the bank vault. Our room was sufficient, comfortable bed. The room was beginging to show age and needed some updating. Otherwise it was well appointed. We briefly used the hot tub/sauna. That was decent but not overly relaxing, the hot tub room had a very sterile vibe. The location was great, we were there to attend the theatre which was walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. Easy, off site parking. Would stay again!

I’ve stayed at One King West twice over the past year and had a wonderful experience and impecable service both times. I have only stayed in the tower suites so far- staying on the 35th floor last year, and on the 18th floor (in room 1810) this week. 1810 is quietly tucked away at the end of the hall away from elevators and has tons of light and a great view due to a full wall of windows. The suite is equipped with a small kitchen and washer/dryer, which was a really nice surprise! My only suggestion would be complimentary water bottles and robes in the room, but the front desk was more than happy to accommodate by bringing some up. I ordered room service my last night, honestly not expecting anything special, but was unbelievably surprised by how delicious the blackened chicken was. I was told it may take up to 40-45 min to deliver due to the chicken’s cook time, but it made it to my room within about 30. Truthfully, I don’t think I’ve ever had an in room meal this good before. Nazmul, the food and Bev manager personally delivered my meal and went above and beyond to ensure my stay and experience was top notch. To top it off, he even made a great recommendation for breakfast the next morning which was greatly appreciated. Finally- One of my main reason for staying here… the fitness center equipped with a men and women’s sauna and whirlpool. In the bitter Toronto winter, this makes all the difference. All in all, I will continue to book here for many work trips to come and will look forward to the continued exceptional service.

Not worth the price in my opinion. We had a beautiful view and it is in a convenient location however the room felt cheap- an uncovered duvet with just a top and bottom sheet, hard/high pillows that our neck hurt in the morning, and blinds that don’t open on one side doesn’t scream this price point to me. The bathroom is also rough looking; painted over imperfections, the shower tile is roughly cut around the drain, the sink is very small and put in sideways, etc. But, the lobby is nice and being connected to the walking path in the winter is a plus too.

Excellent stay at One King West Hotel & Residence. A beautiful hotel with strong historical character, combining classic architecture with modern comfort. Impeccable cleanliness, extremely polite and professional staff, and a fantastic downtown location. The room was very comfortable and offered a stunning city view, including the CN Tower. A refined, well-maintained hotel that I would happily recommend and stay at again.

Our stay at One King West Hotel was absolutely amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. One of the biggest highlights was direct access to the PATH, which was fantastic. It truly felt like a city under a city, and we never had to step outside to get to shops, dining, or other facilities. Overall, an exceptional experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

An exceptional and truly memorable stay. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, and peaceful, offering a high level of privacy. The food, coffee, and croissants from the café located downstairs are absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The gym is amazing and very well equipped. The room is extremely comfortable and quiet, with a stunning view. As a tourist from Saudi Arabia, I honestly did not expect the hotel to be this beautiful and impressive. The staff are professional, friendly, and made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. The reception service was excellent, especially Rachel, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. I still have a few days left before departure, and I already know I will truly miss this place and the beautiful view from my room.
