This hotel is surrounded by skyscrapers which is expected in Toronto but the rooms were so dark, limited lighting, black ceilings did nothing for the room, rooms feels stuffy without continuous ac, on the plus side bathroom was lovely, the bed was hug! The staff were lovely, breakfast was included but pretentious, you are only allowed one cup of tea/ coffee. You had choose from a menu, any extras like muffins, croissant were chargeable if you want a cooked breakfast, does not bode well, everyone should be allowed as much toast, croissant, fruit and drinks as they want... It lets the hotel down. Would I book again... No the black ceilings play with your mood!

Wonderful hotel in a great and convenient location. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The staff is absolutely second to none. From the staff you met in the elevator, the front desk, to the restaurant, everyone was so pleasant, kind and helpful. You will simply not find a better hotel in Toronto. This hotel will be my first recommendation anytime someone discusses going to Toronto.

Le Germain Mercer is a modern hotel with large well equipped rooms nestled among other hotels in the area. It was very quiet and the lounge as well as the restaurant were excellent. The staff could not have been better. To a person they were personable helpful and friendly. They staff .are our stay very pleasant thank you for a Great visit.

Lovely big room, wonderful shower and the staff were very helpful in answering our questions. The gym could be a little big bigger but adequate for 2 to 3 people. Hotel is in a fantastic location, near the Rogers Stadium, CN tower and loads of great eating places nearby.

One night only no breakfast just spending the night. The room 510 was really spacious with dark decoration very modern and calm. A bit masculine for my taste. The bathroom is really big a comfy. Big tub with rain shower style. Very beautiful tile, warmer color than the room and a glass wall between the tub and the bed!! There is a blind for privacy. The toilet has a separate door. Big tv to cast from you phone. Expresso Coffee machine with 3 individual capsules and 2 creamers. I would have loved more creamers though. the room has a big area to seat on a sofa with your feet up next to the window. the negative side is the location of my room, it was looking at this narrow street with another hotel to close for my comfort. Very quiet and good sleep.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with generously sized rooms. What really set this place apart from other hotels we’ve stayed at in Toronto, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and truly guest-oriented. They were eager to assist without ever being snotty or pretentious. From the housekeeping staff to the valets and front desk team, everyone was exceptional and made our stay feel special.

Stayed at Le Germain Mercer in late Oct 2025; very comfortable room, good location near restaurants and an easy 20-minute walk from Union Station - even closer to Scotiabank Place and CN Tower. Very pleasant and professional staff and reasonably priced. After my stay, my account had an old email address on it (our fault) so I didn't get my receipt by email. Called a month later to have a new one sent and the phone was picked up by a live person (not used to THAT these days) and he could tell who I was before I had to even introduce myself. He anticipated what I needed, updated my address and had my receipt in my inbox within 3 minutes. TERRIFIC SERVICE!! I'll stay again in a heartbeat.

This has been by far the best customer service I’ve ever received while staying at a hotel. I’d even say their service tops the Four Seasons. Carla, Noelle, and all the front desk staff go above and beyond to ensure every guest’s needs are met. I normally don’t leave reviews, but the service here has been so exceptional that I felt compelled to write one while it was still fresh in my mind. The staff are wonderful — they keep the rooms spotless each day, open the front doors with a smile, greet guests warmly, and always offer to help with luggage and food deliveries. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone, anytime. Definitely a 5/5 stars experience.

To be clear, this is a business hotel - generous but unremarkable rooms, large desk, very clean, functional, quick wifi. But the service here definitely exceeds 4* / business hotel standard! There were small touches I've usually only seen in 5* hotels: housekeeping laying a towel under my toiletries and coiling my wires for me; staff addressing me by name (even by the doormen, who were fantastic). Kudos to the team.

Very accommodating. Beautiful, clean design. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a great experience including treats and balloons in the room for my birthday.
