What a truly Wonderful experience I had at the Shangri-La Toronto. From the moment you step in, you are treated like royalty, the service is out of this world. The rooms are so beautifully designed with High-tech equipment, making it a seamless and flawless experience every moment. The dining is out of this world, and the in room dining was truly magnificent. The staff make personal relationships with their guests and truly make the entire experience memorable. Very nice luxury hotel. From the moment you arrive at the valet parking, to the front door staff to the check in desk you will be impressed. Check in is simple and you are off to your room. The gym and pool on floor 5 are amazing. This hotel is kid friendly and the staff know how to make their stay just as pleasant as the adults. I would stay here again

First time staying at a Shangri-La property, and we were very impressed with the service. The hotel is well maintained and conveniently located, with excellent walkability to attractions such as Little Canada, the Aquarium, the CN Tower, and nearby shopping malls—even in early January weather. There is even a grocery store across street that we could go and buy fresh fruits and quick snacks. The staff are exceptionally well trained across the board, from the front desk and concierge to housekeeping and restaurant staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and professional. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and overall we had a great stay.

There’s a sense of luxury at Shangri-La that isn’t loud or overwhelming. It’s subtle and graceful, allowing you to slow down and truly enjoy the moment. The contrast between the busy streets outside and the serene interior inside made the experience even more special. Spending time there felt like a pause from everyday life, a chance to reset and appreciate beauty, comfort, and calm. Shangri-La isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience that leaves you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and quietly inspired.

The Shangri-La Toronto is an amazing hotel. We spent Christmas there and it was just super lovely. Every interaction with staff was 5* - every.single.time. Rooms were clean and spacious. Gorgeous bathrooms - the spa looked amazing (we didnt have the chance to book anything) and the pool area was lovely. I would have appreciated a “child free” time in the pool - but it was Christmas after all - so everyone was at the hotel for a lovely time. The only “ding” I’m giving the rooms is for the pillows. Not great pillows. I did call to request some additional pillows from the pillow menu - but only 1 arrived - the others were all being used. (So i think that may be worth looking at). Food was excellent at Bosk. And the cocktails were amazing. We did not have Tea in the lobby - but it looked lovely. Next time we are in Toronto - I will definitely book it. Great stay. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. It never felt forced — just thoughtful, professional, and kind. All of our requests were handled promptly and with ease. The pool and hot tub facilities are stunning and feel like a true retreat in the city. The option to reserve a cabana ahead of time is a great touch and ensures a relaxed, stress-free experience. The lobby lounge was absolutely delightful, with live music creating a perfect atmosphere. The food was outstanding — especially the sliders, which were genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. From start to finish, the Shangri-La delivered a luxury experience that felt personal and welcoming. We can’t wait to return.

This was my first time staying at the Shangri-La Toronto and I was genuinely impressed. I frequent many 5-star hotels in the city, and this may be my new favourite. The service was exceptional, from seamless room service to a beautiful spa experience, everything felt elevated and thoughtfully executed. The room service food was also outstanding; I enjoyed it so much that I chose in-room dining every night instead of visiting nearby restaurants. One employee who truly stood out was Andre at reception. He went above and beyond multiple times to accommodate some of my unique requests, ensuring my stay remained completely seamless and luxurious. His professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a noticeable impact. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I want to highlight the Amazing service of the staff at this hotel! Everyone is so kind, oriented to detail and looking to give their guests a pleasant experience. Andre at the front door was extremely helpful and kind helping me find my Uber drivers and loading my baggage. Thanks again to all the staff!

The word I would use to describe our stay at the Shangri-La Toronto is "meh." The floor lamp in our room didn't work and the coffee station did not have cream or sugar stocked (cream and sugar were delivered when we notified the front desk). I was unable to have a bath because the water in our room was lukewarm, at best. The bathwater was very cold by the time the tub was filled and our showers were not hot enough either. When we ordered room service, the steak my husband ordered was hilariously small - truly, the smallest steak I have ever seen. A steak for ants. The menu did not state the size of the steak and now we know why! Ultimately, we will give the hotel 3 stars because the hotel was very clean and the service staff was very kind and helpful. However, for the price, there were too many instances of disappointment for us to return again.

We had such an amazing and memorable stay. All staff were accommodating and friendly. Special mention to Lawrence and Robert who are genuinely kind and attentive. . The room is clean, cozy, spotless and had everything I needed. The little touch such as complimentary snacks and nice view of the city made a difference. Every detail was well taken care of and the service was top-natch. We will definitely come back!
