Stayed here for a night when staying for a convention at MTCC, and had a tremendous experience. Staff was incredibly courteous and friendly, drinks were delicious, and got a great night's sleep. Love that the room had both a shower and a tub. Lots of thoughtful little touches that will guarantee we absolutely stay here again.

I chose Ace Hotel Toronto largely for its architecture, which is undeniably striking. The combination of concrete, brick, and wood creates a sophisticated, beautifully considered space. The hotel itself, however, was less compelling. The rooms are quite small, and I was disappointed to find a stains on the leather bench. The hotel’s minimalist aesthetic simply isn’t for me. Given the price point, I feel there are better values in the area. The location is excellent, with St. Andrew’s Park directly across the street and restaurants within easy reach. Ultimately, I admired the architecture far more than I enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Ace Hotel! The hotel is really beautiful and we loved the rooftop bar. The concierge was very nice and welcoming upon check-in. We didn’t have any issues with noise on our floor but it does get pretty busy/rowdy on a weekend night, which we didn’t mind, but something to mention depending on the type of stay you’re looking to have. The hotel is in a convenient location downtown and there is a parking garage right across the way underneath the food hall. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Hotel is nice, rooms are nice. It can be a bit loud as the vibe is a bit young and people are often coming to their rooms after being at the rooftop bar. The solution to that is either earplugs, ignore it or visit the rooftop bar….. the rooms are kept nice and cool & the beds are comfy. I wouldn’t bother “upgrading” from the cozy to a king room unless you get one with a view. The standout here for me is always the staff, they’ve been super accommodating to requests and small changes. It is also a very pretty hotel.

Room was cool. Well stocked mini bar and great mattress and sheets. Parking is a bit of a thing. Once you get settled though it's in walking/public transit distance to all kinds of cool stuff. Great location downtown. Rooftop bar was awesome and brunch at the restaurant was delicious.

Stayed at Ace Hotel for a weekend staycation and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The room was spacious, and had a view overlooking the park, which gave the stay a surprisingly calm feeling for downtown Toronto. The hotel amenities were good, breakfast on the top floor was enjoyable, and the in-suite dining was genuinely very good. The food arrived right on time, and the quality was just as good as dining downstairs at Alder. Overall, it felt like a stylish and comfortable city escape for a weekend.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The room was super cosy and very clean. We ordered room service a couple of times, and it was very easy to navigate and order through our phones. We tried the Caesar salad, charcuterie board, salmon bagels, and coffee, and everything was DIVINE. Check-in and check-out were also incredibly easy, all done through our phones, which made our check-in/out experience very smooth. The location was also great! The area had a lot of great cafés, markets, and food options within walking distance, which we really liked. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again! :)

Located in the best part of Toronto in terms of walkability to all the major tourist sites, public transportation, parks galore, restaurants, TIFF, etc. the Ace hotel is also an architectural jewel in terms of interior design, such as their famous ‘The Lobby.’ The rooms at first seem sparse especially with the use of cement and plywood, however … come ‘home’ at the end of the day and you’ll find your room relaxing, even soothing. But the best thing about the Toronto Ace? the staff!! After only a couple of days stay, Sheldon (he of the driest sense of humour) knew what I’d like for breakfast including, “Americano, three shots?” At the end of the day there was Jerome to welcome me back. But Michaela was the joy! From the moment she greeted me when I arrived, she was always professional and helpful, friendly to everyone. One moment stands out when she was so kind and supportive after I had had not the greatest day. Seriously, I had tears when checking out and I had to say goodbye to Michaela. Will I return? You bet! The Ace is the best hotel experience I’ve had in Toronto and I’ve been coming to this city for both business and pleasure for over forty years.

I loved this hotel! Stayed here for my birthday in a cute room during march. We had a small room but it was perfect for two people. It was different from any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in, very boutique, rustic, and warm feeling. It’s the perfect location and the rooftop bar is gorgeous. Will definitely return!!

I think we will always stay at the Ace when we visit Toronto. It’s convenient to book with Amex points. The atmosphere is laidback while elevated. The rooms are comfortable. The location offers easy access to Queen west.
