The Revery Toronto Downtown, Curio Collection is a stylish hotel in a prime downtown location, praised for its comfortable rooms, modern design, and friendly staff. However, recent reviews highlight inconsistencies in service, cleanliness issues, and operational difficulties, particularly concerning check-in and room readiness. Some guests experienced noise and concerns regarding the quality of certain amenities.
The rooms are really nice! Stayed in a corner king. Coffee machine is Nespresso. TV is massive. Little seating area is actually usable. Room was clean. Staff very kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
We’ve just returned from a very pleasant 3-night stay at the Revery Toronto Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton. We booked a standard king room and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well-designed it was. The room was very clean and had thoughtful amenities including plenty of sockets and charging points, a Nespresso machine with both ceramic and takeaway cups, and excellent lighting with adjustable settings. Overall, we were very impressed with both the room and the hotel’s location. The area felt safe, convenient, and ideal for exploring the city.
Don't bother booking if you're flying in late. After 10pm they lock the doors and the only access is with a key through the concierge entrance. I flew in a 1am and requested a digital key, with said good reason. It wasn't issued, because "they needed to verify things" which is pointless if the only way to get to check-in is with a key, where said key is issued - why not issue a key in the app that allows me to at least enter the lobby at night? That's too much to ask I guess. So I stood outside the concierge door while the person at check in not interested in letting me in or just ignoring me, until to my incredible luck, a few minutes later someone walked out. At 1am. Pure luck. Also, I would disagree with the other reviews about their rooms being exceptional. Yes, they are decorated, yes they are stylish, but the build quality is lackluster - my tub was leaking water into the hallway and I slipped on it, since the tile is black and hurt my back. Also the room was dusty and made me develop some kind of allergy and I had the sniffles all day in my meetings after. The location is excellent, and it's unfortunate that I won't be booking with them anymore. If you're looking for an awesome hotel in this area of Toronto, pick the Bisha, it's designed with the same styling in mind, the rooms are much bigger and the quality is there all round.
We had a wonderful stay at Revery Toronto Downtown Hotel. The hotel is incredibly cute and stylish, with a modern design that makes the whole place feel very welcoming. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. The location is also excellent, right in a great downtown spot that made it easy to get around. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again when visiting the city!
I had a very pleasant stay at Revery Toronto Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience. The hotel offers a very good atmosphere, a convenient location, and a high standard of service. I would especially like to recognize the housekeeping staff, who were exceptionally friendly and professional throughout my stay. Special thanks to Karl for the warm and courteous approach. My only criticism concerns the room amenities. Unfortunately, the minibar was completely empty, which was disappointing. In addition, there was no complimentary welcome water in the room. At a room rate of approximately €800 per night, I would have expected greater attention to these details. Despite this, my overall impression of the hotel remains very positive, and I can say that I truly enjoyed my stay.
I stay in hotels reguraly for business and I will say this was by far the worst stay I have ever had. We arrived, got into our room early, started to change and an employee had opened our door up and came into our room while we were occupying it. No big deal, went down to front desk, told them about the issue, didn't make a big deal. Cristina at the front desk gave me a 20% off cupon for dinner at their resturant. Long story short we planned to go somewhere else, but opted to go to dinner there. Charged the food to my room, used the cupon & went back to our room. Meanwhile, I was still allowed my 36.00 daily food credit so I had gotten breakfast per the front desks instructions. I now have a charge for breakfast & Cristina (Who gave me the 20% off cupon) said we had already used our daily food credit at the resturant. I explained nicely that we used the cupon that was provided. She argued with me on the phone for about a half hour after everything & offered me $5.13 on a 36 dollar breakfast bill that they told me would be covered under my status perks. Very disappointed & will never come back.
Revery Toronto consistently delivers an excellent experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, rooms are comforting, and the service is outstanding. A special thank you to Andri at the front desk, who made my most recent check-in absolutely marvelous. He was incredibly professional and welcoming, and even followed up afterward to make sure everything was perfect with my stay. It’s clear the hotel is well managed. That level of attention and care really stands out.
My friend and I stopped by Hotel Revery for coffee since we live in the area, and we were so impressed by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. Although brunch service had just ended and we couldn’t dine in, the team went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even invited us to explore the property and kindly gave us a tour of the beautiful restaurant, boardroom and meeting spaces for my friend’s potential business needs. The upstairs restaurant are absolutely stunning—classy, elegant, and filled with a gorgeous ambiance. The restaurant itself is a space we’re already looking forward to returning to. We’re excited to check out their Winterlicious menu, available until February 12, or to come back for a weekend breakfast. It was also great to learn they offer happy hour aperitifs from 4 to 7 p.m., which is another perfect excuse to return. Overall, Hotel Revery delivers warmth, elegance, and exceptional hospitality. A true neighborhood gem that we’re happy to have nearby.
The hotel is in the best location if you are going to one of the theatres on King St. I did not have a car and was able to get around easily by walking and TTC transportation. It's also close to many dining options. The hotel is modern and very clean throughout. I had a double queen room. It was very spacious, well equipped with outlets, remote controls for lights etc., and other amenities. I enjoyed the in-room Nespresso maker. I also appreciated the effort to be sustainable by providing glasses rather than plastic cups, and mugs as well as paper cups. The bathroom was a bit small and had a bathtub and a barn door (not my favourite), but it was functional, modern and updated. I also appreciated Muse cafe in the lobby as a place to get a coffee and pastry for breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel.
This review is for the fantastic and delicious Christmas latte I had at Muse Lobby Bar inside the Revery Hotel! My friend had a Matcha Latte and I had a Maple Cinnamon Latte and loved it so much! They looked beautiful too. Big thanks to Marvin for the excellent service and friendly chat about the upgrade to the hotel. I also loved the warm ambiance and burgundy colours and lounge area. Very cozy and opulent!
