The Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto offers a venue primarily focused on concerts, with generally positive feedback on sound quality and spacious seating. However, guests consistently highlight logistical challenges related to accessibility, crowd flow, and security procedures, particularly during larger events. While the casino offers additional entertainment options, the venue’s location and related transportation issues are recurring concerns.
Went to see Nmixx here and seated at F4 DD (row4). The security guard is waaaaay to far in the aisle. They usually stand behind and in front of the barricade. This guy just blocked the whole show. I could only see on the left of him. I added a pic where I sat and where he was standing and where he should be...
We saw a concert here last night, none of the staff were able to assist us in finding our seats, we set off in groups of strangers to help each other find them. The drink lines were the most ridiculous things I’ve seen, 4 bartenders per floor for 3000+ people? It took us 45 mins to get a drink. The sound is very good, no complaints there.
Came for the concert of Cantopop queen Janice ??? It was amazing.?. Loved the atmosphere so much! ^?·????? Small venue but super warm vibe.?.? Felt like I was back in HK ? surrounded by Hong Kong people ????????????
For venues, I watched the Max Amini show. The show was fantastic but the venue itself wasn't the best. The floor seating wasn't properly labelled and even though the usher took us to our seats, we were seated in the wrong seats and had to move during the show. These seats weren't labeled which made it confusing not only for the guests but the ushers as well. The area to get into the casino was absolute chaos. It took literally 20 minutes to get through and get parking. Not the best place to have a venue of this magnitude. It's best to find somewhere else to hold such an event.
Amazing venue. Will be back. Very spacious and clean. Hannah and Laura were absolutely incredible. You two amazing ladies along with the other amazing crew members (did not get names) made my mom who was very sick (just got out of the hospital), my grandma who can’t do stairs well and my night all the more special. You guys were truly amazing! Thank you so much! Air supply was fantastic
I had 2 shows in a month here. Attended BIBI and Junoon. I sat in G5 row A for BIBI and my second time was in G2 row Q. Both times the view was decent the screens on the side are okay. The actual venue is in the middle of nowhere but its okay they have decent public transport options around the area. They have free parking which in good weather is fine but during winter it can be difficult. Coatcheck is free but if its a sold out concert like BIBI the line to collect items is huge. There was no line for Junoon. Sound during BIBI felt fine but during junoon there were a lot of technical issues the music was super loud the entire time it was hard to hear the artist for most part. The security during Junoon was unreasonable as they wouldn’t allow light-sticks when they were allowed at BIBI. Didnt make any sense when ppl were walking in with huge totes, i really wish they had handled it differently.
I went to the Katseye concert in Toronto and it was a great venue! There was a lot of free parking provided (outdoor and indoors), easy to find the theatre, the sound was great, seating was good. I wish the floor seats were elevated like the grandstand, but thats the only criticism I have. The staff there are friendly, kind of organized for a big event. The casino itself was hotter but the theatre was on the chilly side. I hope they host more concerts here!
Has a capacity of 5000 and a good place for intimate concerts. Good vantage points wherever you're seated, comfortable seats. Ingress and egress flow is easy. Rhe acoustics could be better as is the lighting on stage. Free parking is always great.
I’m a bit hot and cold about this venue. The theatre itself is nice and I like that it’s not downtown so parking is free (though it’s an open lot and a bit of a walk to the entrance, so be ready to freeze in the winter). Coat check is free also, but it took almost an hour to get our coats after the show. You have to walk through the casino to get to the theatre, and obviously plenty of slot machines to enjoy if that’s your thing, plus a decent selection of fast-food options before or after the show. The biggest issue is organization. The layout is honestly a mess. When we arrived at the door we were told we needed wristbands to get into the GA area and had to walk all the way to the other side and lineup to get them. Missing part of the opening act. The restroom, smoking area, and main bar are all bunched together near a main entrance, creating massive congestion and chaos. Everyone’s just wandering like lost concert zombies with no staff or signs directing traffic. It’s a nice venue with potential, but they really need to work on crowd flow and staff coordination to make it a five-star experience.
Guess who i saw here... just take a guess... Friggen AQUA! ComeON now, FANTASTIC show! They did Barbie Girl, of course. The did Dr. Jones, you gotta. They did the turn back time one, it was in a movie about a subway. They did it all! And a surprising large venue. Like... i didn't even know this casino existed, and now i can see some top acts just 20min away? Why not! ...ONLY catch, it is REALLY dumb that there's no easy way to park and get to the theatre side of the building. After the show, everyone had to POUR through the tiny security gates, trudge THROUGH the whole dang casino area, and THEN get to the car park... WHO DESIGNED THIS place??? ...only saving grace was the self serve beverage area on the way.
